Idiot of the Week – Magistrate Samuel Zuze
Words fail me, but I’ll give it a go……In Zimbabwe “Zuze” is a name given to a dodgy character and the Idiot of the Week has lived upto his name.
Magistrate Samuel Zuze convited and fined a group of farmers who were refusing to vacate farms they have occupied for more than a hundred years. The farmers then filed an appeal in the High Court which Zuze failed to recognise issuing an arrest warrant and eviction orders.
One would ask why Zuze was not letting justice prevail and ask questions as to why he is in such a rush to get rid of these farmers…..Well the answer is Magistrate Samuel Zuze is a direct beneficiary of the land and grab and is about to take over one of the farms. He should never have ruled on this case as he was not goin to be impartial.
Magistrate Samuel Zuze can be contacted on +263 91 25 20994, give him call or send him a text, let him know what you think.

Mr Musavengana Mhuri sir, you sound biased in your opinion. Zuze has every right to lay claim to a farm as he is a zimbabwean national. It's the country's laws not zuze that dictate those white farmers leave their farms. They got eviction orders more than a year ago and weren't doing anything about it, they could have just applied for offer letters like zuze did and maybe stayed on their farms.
In my opinion, those blasted whites should go back to whence they came from, there were no court orders when they drove out forefathers off the land why should we resort to the courts now?
You obviously didn't go to the war and you obviously didn't lose close friends and relatives during the war, we lost our brothers and sisters at chimoio and nyadzonya and they didn't die for nothing. Frankly, i'm waiting for the day we chase all those whites out of this country and take over their businesses, houses, cars… because all that belongs to us.
Comradejo my opinion is not biased at all I think you got me wrong there. I am a Zimbabwean born and bred and I am all for the spread of wealth amongst the people of Zimbabwe, my problem is Zuze presiding over a case he has interest in. For a minute there you go on like Mugabe always reminding us about the war days and who did what.
What is happening now in Zimbabwe is the Mugabe and his cronies are busy taking these farms in the Name of Land Redistribution and taking them for themselves, they are not making me and you rich, they making themselves rich. There are so many ways this could have been handled without bankrupting the country. Haveyou benefited from this? I know I havent. But I can tell you this now there are ministers, Army personel, Govt officials who now have more than one farm and dont know what to do with it.
Its too late for Zimbabwe weather the white stay or they go Mugabe carries on to cripple the country. Its almost like he want to be buried with the country, at this rate its looking likely.
