Mugabe attacks the West…….Again

Robert Mugabe was at it again, doing what he does best……….. verbally attacking the West. There is a time and place for everything and politicising  your sister’s burial is not one of them -politician or not.  By now we all know how Mugabe feels about Britian and America but he feels the need to rant about them everytime a podium is put in front of him. There are two ways of looking at this one is because of his age he confuses events and the other is that he is just does not have anything more  to offer and its time to change the record. Zimbabweans and the West are tired of this man using every opportunity he gets to further his career, its the same thing all the time…please Robert lets move on. Abusing and insulting diplomats at your sister funeral is just low but what else do expect from a man like Robert Mugabe.

US ambassador Charles Ray, German ambassador Albrecht Conze and the European Union’s charge d’affaires Barbara Plinkert walked out after Mugabe told them (Europeans and Americans) to go to hell and any self respecting person would do that, why should I hang around while you insult me. Mumbengegwi had the nerve to reprimand  them for walking out when it was clear they were not welcomed. They did not have to be there, they were there out  of respect. Mugabe accused the West of trying to dictate Zimbabwe’s politics and rob the country of natural resources, once again he is pointing fingers,  he is the one who is responsible for the collapse of the economy and his buddies are the ones looting the countries tressures. I have mentioned Bob’s recycled speech over and over, this man has nothing new to offer us and after 30 years we can only blame ourselves for this current mess we are in. The hipocrisy of this whole act is  Mugabe unleashes on the West at any given chance but then sends teams around the world begging for donations, America and Germany are amoung some of the biggest Aid donors to Zimbabwe and to insult them in this manner and accuse them of colonising our country is just nonsensical.

ZANU have taken us for fools and they carry on doing so. Does Sabina Mugabe deserve a heroes send-off I dont think so I’m sure she was a good mother to her boys but also contributed the collapse of the country. If she had Robert’s ear why didnt she tell him kuti zvakana its time to retire. This has opened the doors for all the Mugabe to be laid to rest at the nation shrine. There are real heroes who were denied this honor because they did not get along with Mugabe, then his sister dies and ZANU PF politiburo takes 5mins to decide where is going to be buried., Who are they to decide who gets buried there. This is the National Hereos Acre not the ZANU PF Shrine where real heroes and deserving members of society should be buried, it should not be used as a cemetry for ZANU PF members.
