ZANU PF loyalist and Joints Operation Command (JOC) Chihuri is one massive thorn in the back of the Home Affairs Ministry, the man is a mini-dictator who gets away with murder. If Chihuri is not happy with you he makes sure you get the message, his latest victims have been the whole Police Force at Avondale Police Station. Chihuri has transfered the officers from this station because they sympathise with the Prime Minister who lives locally and plans to replace them with officers loyal to him and Zanu PF. This is an issue that has rubbed the Commissioner the wrong way and he has taken steps to to make sure no other Police Force will repeat this or they will find themselves in rural posts around the country far away from their famillies. The Commissioner is a member of a mini-dictators club (JOC) that vowed never to salute or respect Prime Minister Tsvangirai. Chihuri is everything that is wrong with the law in Zimbabwe, as a public Servant he is there to serve any Zimbabwean regardless of their religious background, colour, tribe or political affiliations but previous events in the country show us that the Police Commissioner has failed the general public. Chihuri only has ZANU interests at heart and that is the reason why he should go.

Clearly Mr Chihuri skipped the lecture on impartiality at Police School the former Traffic Officer runs the entire organisation like its a local boys cluble. Chihuri is only answerable to Robert Mugabe and this was one of Giles Mutsekwas main gripes with ZANU when he was co-Home Affairs Minister, whilst he could not get through to the President, Chihuri had him on speed dial. There are some personal reasons why Chihuri is Mugabe’s bouncer and lawman and why he has managed to keep his job for this long, The President owes him but I’ ll let you do your home work these two have shared a few things in life.

The Illusive

Makedenge is the officer commanding the Law and Order section of the police but he finds time to ring journalists and threaten them with death.  This man needs to be stopped before it’s too late; well for his wife it is already too late as she committed suicide.

This man has been behind the abductions and torcher of anyone he feels is a threat Mugabe and ZANU PF. Why Tsvangirai and the MDC do not request investigations or the step down of the Chief Superintendent is beyond me. Recently his wife commited suicide  and questions have been asked and her family requested the suicide note she left behind mysteriously vanished. Although this was public knowledege Makedenge has decided to take out his frustrations on the Freelance journalist Stanley Kwenda who wrote story. Makedenge rang Kwenda on a Friday evening and told him he would be dead by the end of the weekend. Kwenda took this serously and fled the country as these animals are capable of anything.

The Prime minister’s arrogance did not help the situation and I’m sure he will not be repeating that any time soon. The exiles behaved in a way many Zimbabweans living in Zimbabwe would like to, but they know too well what will happen to them if they behaved in such a way torward Mugabe or any of his people. When was the last time Mugabe was jeered or heckled?….um…um….um….not a lot…um…um..mum…um Its not because people don’t want to its because “political freedom of expression” dont exist in Zimbabwe. This is all new to the PM now hopefully he will take those in the dispora seriously and stop treating them like a 5th Grade scince group (Listen to me……..um…um.um…Let me tell you…..um…um).

Pamberi Nekubatana

A few weeks ago I wrote about those that had wronged Zimbabweans, their injurious contributions to Human Rights abuses and to the collapse of the country and how one day they should be hunted down and have their crimes brought before the people. One of the Zimbabwean daily news sites (will only name them if they give me permission to) had a “Violence Death List” of men and women who had lost their lives because of their political beliefs and I thought it would only be right to come up with a list of the perpetrators and those who became synonymous with Zimbabwe’s recent breakdown in the rule of law and benefited from the Political turmoil. As you can see from the list most if not all are elements of “Security” and have been behind most of the violence.

ROBERT MUGABE (Mr President himself, the Chief)

HAPPYTON BONYONGWE – Head of the CIO. His men have been responsible for the abduction and murder of opposition supporters.

MARTIN CHEDONDO – The commander of the Army. (Once told soldiers to quit or will be dealt with if they dont support Mugabe)

JOSEPH CHINOTIMBA – Deputy President of the War Veterans Association (though he was never involved in the liberation struggle)

GEORGE CHARAMBA – Mugabe’s voice to the People. (Known for his outburst to foreign media and domestic violence)

PARADZAI ZIMONDI – Zimbabwe Prisons Commissioner. (Besides the men not being able to do his job properly he also made sure all prison officers side with Mugabe and ZANU PF)

CONSTANTINE CHIWENGA – Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces. (Will take over if his needs are not met or as he has done previously turn the gun on himself)

SYDNEY SEKERAMAYI Minister of Defence. (Main duties is to make sure militia, army and police are well equiped)

PERENCE SHIRI Air Force chief. (Mugabe’s cousin,Very active in the massacres of more than 20,000 people in Matabeleland in the 1980s.)

AUGUSTINE CHIHURI -Police Commander, Zimbabwe’s Chief of Police. (Amoungst other crimes and corruption he is responsible for converting Zimbabwe’s police force into armed wing of ZANU PF. Very active in operation Murambatsvina)

GIDEON GONO Reserve Bank Chief, Whinger or the Boys Club Personal Banker. Close friend of Mugabe and everyone else on this list.

PATRICK CHINAMASA Justice Minister also Farm grabber. (Best word that describes this man is delusional)

Is Sekai Holland rocking Mugabe and Tvsangirai’s boat? Earlier this week she claimed that there were new threats of violence, this time Zanu PF has gone as far as to maintaining a “Hit list” of MDC Member to assassinate. Having being at the recieving end of the almighty ZANU PF she knows it all too well. In her own words “No-one feels safe in Zimbabwe. No-one, and I mean no-one. We have not reached a ceasefire. We are still at the point where people have their guns cocked.”

There have been claims that Mugabe has lost control of the War Veterans and the Militia Youth but has he, if they are on a payroll doesn’t this mean they are paid to carry-out certain tasks. MDC members are getting threating phone calls to warn them of things to come.

In the interest of a peaceful inclusive government should ZANU PF really sit back and let this go on if Power-sharing was at the top of the agenda they should be controlling those making these calls.

Most Zimbabweans are worrid that MDC has been sucked into ZANU PF and Prime Minister Tsvangirai is not instilling confidence into his supporters, he needs to let them know that all is going to be alright. He keeps sayin we will not go back on the agreement when he is well aware that for him to pull out of the elections the last time it was because of ZANU PF violence. The Well oiled ZANU PF violnce machine can be kick started at short notice and mr Mtsvangirai has got to be ready for that. He said over and over again that he does not trust Robert Mugabe with this in mind I hope he does not let down his supporters.

This is what happens to new recruits in the ZRP as part of their Training. What is done to them in training they then put to use in the field. If they treat each other in this manner what more a group of civilians. This thuggery is beyond belief, does Augustine Chihuri approve of this? Maybe he does as one of  training officers clearly states that they are onto “Syllabus E”. According to SW Radio this footage is only a couple of months old. The Home Affairs Ministry should be ashamed of this. How does such babarianism contribute to serving the community?

 

 

Blog Compromised

My apologies for those who tried to access the blog this morning someone managed to compromise 3rdLiberation.com. However Six hours later here we are up an running again. Still working on few issues though.

I obviously had some unwelcomed visitors who were not happy with one or two things. If you are not happy with the content please do no waste your time I have back-ups, like most just leave a comment.

Like everyone else I am entitled to voice my opinions, cyber vandalism aint going to get you too far, whats next ………..my internet connection.

The Gloves are off…..

Ghandi Mudzingwa, Chris Dhlamini and Shadreck Manyere have “escaped” with their lives some memebrs of MDC were not so lucky, they have been through a lot in the last months. These men have experienced the wrath of Mugabe’s regime at first hand, the abduction, the unlawful detention, the charges that have been brought against them and not forgetting the mental trauma and torture they have had to endure.

These men belong to the MDC Party and held top postions within the party and yet they are going through this alone, instead of fighting for luxury cars and laptops the party should have been fighting for their freedom. Accoding to Ghandi Mudzingwa,  Giles Mutsekwa of MDC who is now co-Minister of Home Affairs has not done much to try and secure freedom for them and if a man in such a position syas he has his hands tied then who is going to come to their recue. Maybe for Mr Mutsekwa this is a big job or has been told to stay out of it, he knows this very well as he himself has been detained and accused of plotting against Mugabe. Distancing yourself  (Mr Mutsekwa) from this whole situation is very shameful and you should not be fit to lead the people.

MDC has now been sucked in ZANU PF and are now operating under ZANU rules. As these men belong to the party surely what they are being accused of should be brought against the Party as well. According to Ghandi the abduction and torture was a collective effort of CIO, ZRP, Civil Military Junta and the Military Intelligence Department, this is way to big for the Prime Minister or anyone who thinks can lend a hand to the detainees. These men have been used as an example and I bet you no one is going to be prosecuted this as it has come from the top. Zimbabweans backed the MDC Party to do the right thing but if they stand and watch such inhuman treatment of fellow members i think they will soon find themselves with very few supporters.

Prime Minister Tsvangirai is where he is becasue of the Zimbabwean people, reason people voted for him was to get rid of the dictator not to schmooze up to him and be friends.If he is not careful he will soon learn why they say politics is a dirty game.

Voting in the Diaspora

In 2000 Zimbabwe (Mugabe) stripped those living in the diaspora the right to vote. Their main reason for this was they had been corrupted by foreign media, so in their eyes this was going to be the “Swing Vote”, so how else to avoid a defeat. They withdraw that right and Zimbabwean Nationals abroad are refused to take part in choosing their own Leadership and Government. As long as you are a citizen of Zimbabwe you should have the right to vote regardles of where you are in the world, what happens in Zimbabwe affects Zimbabweans all over the world if not directly then via their families.

Over the years those in the Diaspora has contributed immensely to the Zimbabwean economy through various ways and has kept the country going during the dark days. The Zimabwean government recognised the power and the contributions of those abroad and decided against them taking part in the country’s elections.

After withdrawing the right to vote for those overseas the government was not quiet about the issue, their response was “Come back home and Vote”, a typical bully way of ZANU dealing with such issues. Most Democratic governments will simply allow all their citizens all over the world the right to vote with out being difficult because that is what happens in a democracy.

Zimbabweans overseas have been accused of being influenced by the “oneside” foreign media and how this can affect the way they vote. These are really shallow statesments on the government’s part as those in the diaspora are in contact with family and friends back home and do not have to rely on the media for current affairs. Foreign media does not know about my cousins not going to school or my great-aunt dying from lack of proper healthcare and my family suffering from human rights injustices. Those overseas are affected so surely they should have the right to decide who they employ. If those in the Diaspora are not backing ZANU PF or the new diluted formation it is not because of the BBC, NBC, CNN, ABC or Al Jazeera it is because of the way they are handling the country’s affairs. The government should not forget that they work for US, the people of Zimbabwe.

I urge the GNU to revisit this issue, we cannot rebuild a nation leaving out some of its citizens you can’t ignore the number of Zimbabweans who are living outside of Zimbabwe. Diasporeans are an important part of this jigsaw. As funny as it may Sound ZANU PF has “supporters” in the Diaspora and I am sure they would like to to be included in the electoral system (or maybe not as they know the outcome).

 If Justice Gorge Mutandwa Chiweshe (Zimbabwe Electoral Commission - ZEC Chairperson) wants his organisation to contribute to rebuilding Zimbabwe in a democratic way the Diaspora Electoral Bill should be revised.
