Only Robert Mugabe could have pulled this one off a -One Man Election-, when is this man going to stop!!!! You would have thought after Tsvangirai pulled out of the run-off Bob would thought oh well I’m old this saves me a lot of work, let me stop campaigning (call off the War Vets, Millitia, Army, Police, etc) and carry on running (oh sorry ruining) the country or prepare my Egypt Speech. This has been a One Man Race for some time now, If Mugabe had had his own way he would have made it a Party State from the get go, not that he did not try. Democrcy has been a Front in Zimbabwe looking back it never really existed, Mugabe is the morden day Adolf Hitler (Yes I said it, I will say it agan Mugabe is the morden day Adolf Hitler) he might not have intentions of taking over the world but I think we can safely say we have heard his foreign policy over and over and over and over. As he has gotten older and older and less wiser he has adopted and established this totalitarian and fascist dictatorship. Bob you never cease to amaze me. He has been normal all along I just dont know what gotten into him maybe he has just realised that politics is relly boring and this is his sadistic way of spicing up things, you never know what he is goin to do next. Yes now as he had warned us before “Only God Can stop me “NEWSFLASH” Bob – Not only is he going to stop you soon he is also going to judge you- You have been warned. To say the School yard bully has bullied his way to the front of the queue is an understatement.

Why Robert Why Please go, you have proved that you can be tough one to crack but your time is nigh.

Sorry folks I have been glued to the airwaves, not much is happening after the elections but you cannot miss out on a briefing. MDC did better than ever before proving they are a clear threat to the current regime but we all know Mugabe and ZANU are not going to give in just like that, they are not going to hand over power just like that. MDC should have been better prepared; they know there is nothing like a fair and free election. Personally I was surprised that there was violence leading to the elections it was too good to be true, War vets (are they still around) and Youth Militia are normally employed to encouraged the masses to turn out and vote for Mugabe. It is widely believed that come 2nd round they will be out in full force for the inevitable reinstatement of the lifelong President. MDC has done well but well is not good enough when you are up against such, ZANU is accusing them of cheating (Pot and kettle comes to mind) and would like the votes recounted in some areas is this all a gimmick to delay matters while they regroup to really show that they are not going anywhere. Zanu is taking time delaying all, pulling resources together and all they can to stop MDC from move into the State House. I can tell you now it will take a miracle to stop this regime going back into Power, over the years Mugabe has led his country in all sorts of hardship to prove to the west that he is going to die in Power and no one is going to stop him, conceding to MDC is not part of his plan he will not let the West have their way with him it’s a case of “Come and Get Me”. If Zanu and Mugabe force their way to stay in will there be foreign intervention to free the people of Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe was on the brink of change and looking forward to moving on but was this just part of the plan as all is now in limbo and no one knows what is going on. After all Zimbabweans have been through one would think that Mugabe was not going to get any votes let alone this to go for a 2nd round. In the past the opposition has been accused of being disorganised and not being up to the challenge, many believed they were not a threat to the ruling party but come on people can things get any better under the current Regime, new blood is needed.

This is no News that the majority of voters in Zimbabwe are all in the rural areas and over the years Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF have made these their stomping grounds. Fair game to them this is how they end up winning almost anything that is put to the vote. One can actually turn around and say these people in the Rural areas are partly to blame for the downfall of the economy not that they do not contribute to it, their contribution is recognised and greatly appreciated, my only problem is they keep voting for a Regime that only wants and supports them for their votes. Mugabe can ignore the urban areas running up to elections and still come out victorious. Zanu has been working at this for years all the schemes they have put in place ranging from the Mechanisation in Agriculture through to Resettling over the years guarantee them votes from such people and as we all know they are the last ones to say they feel the pinch of a struggling economy. These schemes are there to benefit everyone despite what political party you belong to or support but are known to have been abused, this problem is also known to be in Local Governments where corrupt officials use it as a recruiting tool for the party, you do not get much done if you do not belong to the ruling Party, some democracy this is. In order for you to benefit from some of these Government schemes you have to show that you are part of Zanu PF or show some allegiance to the party – “ratidza card”. So if you want to eat what else is there to do but join the enemy. People in the urban areas are the ones who go without electricity, water, transport, they face food shortages in supermarkets etc the list is endless. It so sad to know that the people who are affected by this poor management of resources have limited powers when it comes to playing a part in the future of their own country. Democracy does not exist in Zimbabwe it is just a smoke screen under which Zanu PF operates thieving and wrecking the lives of its own people.

If you go to the rural areas most families are still together and they will tell you they are happy their self sufficiency keeps them content, it’s sad to say it is not the same in the urban areas Fathers, mothers, sons and daughters have left their homes in search of a better life, families have been broken up and most have ended up as economic migrants overseas and in neighbouring countries and who is benefiting from this everyone but Zimbabwe. The brain drain has trained the country and recovering from this is not going to be easy. What Zanu PF does not tell these people is that in today’s developing world there is ethical trade, most developing countries will pay handsomely and fairly for crops that are grown by a small scale farmer and will offer assistance where needed, they need to be told that without the help they get from Zanu PF they can still get ahead earning a lot more that they are at the moment this is evident in places like Kenya and Tanzania where the small scale farmer is reaping the rewards of taking advantage of the ethical trade schemes in their countries. The masses in the rural areas need to distance themselves from the false sense of security that is presented to them by the party.
