3rdLiberation.com was conceived as an online platform to blog, discuss and vent my frustrations on the Political, Social and Economic situation in my country Zimbabwe, to highlight how one organisation and its leader have taken a beautiful and thriving Southern African Nation and turned it into a political circus while holding the nation at ransom. Once the “Bread Basket” of Africa now the “Basket Case” of Africa. As a proud Zimbabwean myself this is a matter that is close to my heart and would like to bring my fellow people together in coming up with solutions on how to end this. I am no Politician therefore this blog is about dialogue and conversation,  all your comments are welcomed no matter how tangible or critical they might be, this is your chance to be heard.

But first a Little Rant………

For a long time we have sat back and let this regime get away with their wicked ways of ruling our country, yes people OUR COUNTRY, the beloved ZIMBABWE for those of you who are abroad, home is home and will always be, whether you are in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Botswana etc….(Yes Bob these are some of the countries where you have forced the majority of our people to escape to).Now is the time to stand up and say NO MORE, Enough is Enough, zvakwana, we are not going to let you get away with this. If we are not going to get international aid because we do not have oil,  Osama Bin Ladin or something George Bush wants and willing to deceive the world to come and get (ref…. Iraq), it’s time we take matters into our hands and handle the situation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not implying some sort of civil war or anything to destabilise our country, what we need to do is remember who we are, Zimbabweans black or white, and together find solutions for this dire situation we find ourselves in. We are a nation of hardworking well educated people and we have all contributed to the development of Zimbabwe but for some strange reason we fall short when it comes to protecting what we have worked so hard to achieve.

Before our very eyes this One old man and his many followers are doing their best to destroy this. At his age he (i.e.Robert) should not be allowed to make decisions on what type of furniture to buy for his home let alone run a country. Your time was up a long time ago old man, it’s time to quit, you did a good job many years ago (now questionable) and if you go now we will consider letting you off for the shambles you leave behind. You can tell I’m angry because on numerous occasions I’ve written to this man and he has not replied to my mail or maybe his minions did not forward the mail to him. He had a chance to be listed among one of the finest leaders of our time having earned the respect of fellow leaders, better still, the respect of not only his people but citizens of other countries too, but as it stands, even I have lost respect for him, why else would I be writing this if that was not the case.

Once hailed as a symbol of the new Africa you don’t care anymore and we have lost, the health and well-being of most Zimbabwean people has dropped dramatically and you keep pointing fingers. (Its not me honest, its the West these Sanctions are crippling our Nation)

Sadly you find yourself in the same gang with Hitler, Sadam, Pinochet, Kim Jong il and Amin, what a way to be remembered hey. You have been labelled a lot in recent times (forget Valentines, Father’s Day cards) and none of it your mother would be proud of. Just in case you have missed media reports they have been calling you a dictator, a Tyrant, a despot and my favourite – an oppressor.

3rdLiberation exposes Zimbabwe’s ruling elite bleeding the country dry as they run out of time. By raising awareness of top officials and associates’ dirty dealings and corruption.

This blog will deliver some thought provoking issues, which I hope my people will engage in discussion and hopefully bring us together.
